Grand Ledge Public Schools is Growing Stronger and Moving Forward

Hi, I’m Nicole Shannon. If you live within the boundaries of Grand Ledge Public Schools, I’ve been proud to represent you on the Board of Education since 2021. I ran because I believe strong public schools are built on transparency, thoughtful decision-making, and a genuine partnership with families and the community. I’m running again to continue the progress we’ve made in growing learners and preparing students—strengthening academics, planning responsibly for a growing district, and stewarding taxpayer dollars with care.

Looking ahead, my focus remains the same: ensuring Grand Ledge Public Schools lives up to its mission and vision of “Growing Learners, Preparing Students,” and "Grand Ledge Public Schools will provide every student a high-quality education, critical thinking skills, and social development to reach their highest potential in a safe and inclusive environment."
